Teaching Experiences:

I grew up and graduated from Owatonna.  I attended Winona State University and graduated with an Elementary Education and Early Childhood degree; I am licensed to teach birth to six grade.  Ever since I was little I always said I wanted to be a teacher and here I am; an official teacher!  I first started off teaching at Kids Korner while I was in high school. Upon going to Winona State I worked at an after school program through Winona School District.  During the summers I would come back home and work for Migrant Head Start.  Upon graduating from Winona State University I began subbing for Owatonna, Blooming Prairie and Faribault School Districts which turned into a long term substitute teaching position for Owatonna School District in a first grade classroom.   From there I worked at MVAC Head Start as the Lead Teacher in Waseca for five years.  After that I became a Head Start Supervisor in Albert Lea, but I missed being in the classroom and teaching.  I could not be more excited that I have been given the opportunity to teach Preschool and ECFE in Medford.

I look forward to working with your child and your family!

 A little about myself:

In my free time I love to spend it with my family, which consists of my husband; Jamie, my daughter; Brooklyn and my son; Ryan.    Brooklyn is in 4th Grade here  and Ryan is in Kindergarten here at Medford School.  I am very fortunate that my extended family is very close and always willing to be their whether it is spending time together or helping us with the kids.  I also love to scrapbook and enjoy spending time outside.
