¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!
I am excited to begin my 10th year of teaching at Medford High School. I graduated from United South Central High School in 2006, Winona State in 2010 with my bachelor's degree in K-12 Spanish Education and a minor in Sociology, and Concordia University, St. Paul, in 2022 with my master's in Educational Technology. While attending WSU for my undergrad, I had the privilege of studying abroad in Granada, Spain, which is where my love of Spanish culture and traveling began. Before coming to Medford, I lived in Chesapeake, VA, with my husband, who was stationed there with the US Navy. I began the first two years of my teaching career at Greenbrier Christian Academy in Chesapeake, VA. My husband and I live in the country near Medford with our three daughters, Olivia, Madalyn, and Ella. Olivia is 11 and in 6th grade, Madalyn is 10, and in 4th grade and Ella is 8 and in 2nd grade. I enjoy spending time with family, reading, staying active, and traveling in my free time. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns. I look forward to another great year in Spanish. I teach Spanish 1-3. My schedule for the 2023-2024 school year is as follows:
