¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!

I am very excited to begin my seventh year of teaching at Medford High School. I graduated from United South Central High School in 2006 and Winona State in 2010 with my bachelor's degree in K-12 Spanish Education and minor in Sociology. While attending WSU I had the privilege of studying abroad in Granada, Spain for six months. Prior to coming to Medford, I lived in Chesapeake, VA with my husband, who was stationed there with the US Navy. I began the first two years of my teaching career at Greenbrier Christian Academy in Chesapeake, VA.

My husband and I now live in the country near Medford with our three daughters, Olivia, Madalyn, and Ella. Olivia is 8 and in 3rd grade, Madalyn is 7 and in 1st grade and Ella is 5 and in pre-k.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, reading, gardening, and traveling. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions or concerns.  I look forward to another great year in Spanish.

I teach Exploratory Spanish and Spanish 1-4. My schedule for the 2020-2021 school year is as follows:
  • 1st hour: Spanish 1
  • 2nd hour: prep
  • 3rd hour: Spanish 3/4
  • 4th hour: Spanish 2
  • 5th hour: Spanish 2
  • 6th hour: Spanish 1
  • 7th hour: Exploratory Spanish (8th grade)
