WELCOME TO 5TH GRADE!
 Hello, I am Mrs. Norton! I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and moved to the Midwest in 2002 with my husband Kris following our marriage. I attended Dakota State University in South Dakota where I earned a BS in Elementary Education, minor in Spanish, and endorsements in Kindergarten Education and K-12 Educational Technology. I also have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary's University. I have two daughters, Rowyn (age 12 in 7th Grade) and Ruby (age 11 in 6th Grade), and a tortoise named Taloolah.I love spending time with my family, watching movies, playing volleyball, dancing, writing, being creative, and laughing. I am a fan of both the Minnesota Wild and Vikings, and hope to one day own a pot-bellied pig! This is my fifth year teaching 5th grade at Medford. I've also taught Kindergarten and 2nd Grade for six years each prior. Teaching and kids are my passions, and I enjoy making learning hands-on and fun!!
