SENORA NORTON
 I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and moved to the Midwest in 2002 with my husband Kris following our marriage. I attended Dakota State University in South Dakota where I earned a BS in Elementary Education, minor in Spanish, and endorsements in Kindergarten Education and K-12 Educational Technology. I also have a Masters in Curriculum and Education from St. Mary's University. I have two daughters, Rowyn(11) and Ruby(10), and a tortoise named Taloolah.I love spending time with my family, watching movies, playing volleyball, fishing, dancing, writing, being creative, and laughing. I am an avid fan of both the Minnesota Wild and Vikings, and hope to one day own a pot-bellied pig! Teaching and kids are my passions, and I enjoy making learning hands-on and fun!! This is my fourth year teaching 5th grade! I am returning after teaching 2nd grade for six years. Before coming to Medford, I was also a full-day Kindergarten teacher in Owatonna for six years.
