I grew up and attended high school in Sleepy Eye MN and attended Winona State University where I earned my Elementary Education Degree, history minor, and a coaching licensure. My teaching career began in Hinckley, MN where I taught third grade for eight years and also spent one year as a Special Education EBD instructor. During my time in Hinckley, I was active with extra curriculars while coaching football, wrestling, and golf. A Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Administrative licensures for the Principalship and Superintendency were earned at St. Mary's University. During the summer of 2004 I began working as the principal for the Medford Elementary School. After serving as the principal for thirteen years I gladly accepted the Superintendent role here at Medford in the spring of 2017. I am honored to represent the school and community in this capacity. Away from school, I am happily married and have three children. Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, extreme running, sports and spending time at the family farm.
