Mrs. Anna Drake

Hello everyone! My name is Anna Drake and I graduated from MSU-Mankato in May of 2015 with a BS degree in Elementary Education and received my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from St.Mary's University in 2019. I am originally from Medford; I grew up here as well as graduated from this very building. This will be my tenth year teaching and I am thrilled that it will be with this new group of 6th graders at this amazing school. I was married in February of 2020 (a month before everything shut down for covid!) and welcomed our son, Maddox, in January of 2022. He is growing so quickly and keeping us busy with all of his non-stop talking! :) I also have a step-son who is almost 15 and attends Faribault High School who also keeps us busy by being involved in all things sports - football, basketball, and weight-lifting. He also just finished drivers education this summer and we are gearing up for him driving once he is officially 15. I enjoy spending time outside throughout the summer and fall with my friends and family. During the cold months, I enjoy a great Christmas movie binge session or shopping! I am looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year.
