I was raised in Fulda, a small town in southwestern Minnesota. I attended Worthington Community College, Southwest State University, and St. Cloud State University all in Minnesota. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 1998. I received my Masters of Educational Technology through Minnesota State University in Mankato in 2010. I started my teaching career by being a substitute in many different districts in Minnesota. I was a Special Education Teacher for a year at Valley Middle School in Apple Valley.
In 2002, I started working in Medford. I've taught 1st and 2nd grade and currently teach K-6 Technology.
I grew up just down the street from my wonderful husband Matt. We were married in 1997. He also works at the school in the Activities and Community Education Office.
We have 3 children, MacKenzie is 19, Jillian is 16, and Madden is 13.

We have one school facility, which opened in 2003 and houses both Medford Elementary and Medford High School. The mission of Medford Public School is to provide quality education and prepare our children and community for the future.
