Every student is entitled to a free and appropriate education and we want to ensure that we are providing the best academic and extra-curricular environment for your child. A child with a physical or mental impairment has the right to an evaluation for a 504 plan. A 504 plan can provide services, accommodations, and/or modifications to a student with a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits a major life activity. Examples of a major life activity include; learning, thinking, concentrating, reading, speaking, walking, breathing, sleeping, caring for oneself, as well as major bodily functions, including brain function, immune system function, or digestive functions (this is not an exhaustive list).
If you have questions regarding your child's physical or medical impairment, Section 504, and/or would like to request a 504 evaluation for your child, please contact Mrs. Routh.
