Welcome to the Medford High School Counseling Page! My name is Trista Rudstrom and I am so excited to be joining the Medford High School team!I am originally from Chisholm MN (way up north), I graduated from Elk River, and recently moved south from Andover. I went to both Duluth and Mankato for college and received my Associate of Arts degree, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology and my Master of Science in School Counseling. This will be my 6th year as a school counselor! When I am not at school you can find me on the golf course, by the lake, or with my large Italian family. No matter what I am doing you can find my 2 pups by my side. Bogey is a basset hound and Bleu is a yellow lab. They are my favorite things in the entire world. My favorite part about being a school counselor is the unique position we are in to support students in every aspect of their life; social, emotional, academic, career/college planning. My office and this page are primarily focused on academic support, college/career planning, credit recovery, and self-exploration that the school counselor offers students.
