Hello! My name is Laura Usueta and I am the new 6-12 grade ELL teacher. This is my first year as a teacher in Medford. A little bit about me is I graduated with my Bachelor's in Teaching English as a Second Language and Early Childhood from Southwest Minnesota State University. I live in Medford with my fiancé and two sons, who also attend school in Medford. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love going out to restaurants, camping during the summer, and taking a yearly family vacation together. These experiences give me the chance to recharge and make wonderful memories. My goal is to create a welcoming classroom where students feel valued, challenged, and supported.I look forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to ensure that every learner has the opportunity to thrive!
