About Ms. Cameron

Ms. Cameron
Welcome to Art at Medford High School! My name is Ms. Kymberly Cameron and I am very excited to be back teaching at Medford as their new 7th-12th Grade Visual Arts teacher.
I was born and raised by Chicago, IL and will always have a deep love for the city and, especially the Art Institute.  I moved from Illinois to Ohio in my early teens and then as a junior in high school moved to Minnesota with my family.  When I graduated from high school I decided to return to the Chicago Area to pursue my degree in Visual Art Education at Judson University.  I grew as an educator and as an artist and received my Bachelors in K-12 Visual Art Education.  I returned to Minnesota where I held several long term subbing positions before having the privilege in 2013 of being hired as Medford Elementary's part time art teacher for two years.  After a year away pursuing my Masters in education I am now blessed to be back as the full time 7th-12th Grade Visual Art Teacher.
In my free time I enjoy watercolor painting, sculpting with polymer clay and playing with my pup Kat.  She is a travel sized rescue mutt who enjoys playing Frisbee and belly rubs!
I am looking forward to #theBestYearEver here at Medford High, please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns at the information below.
